Our school sports teams compete with integrity and ethics in chess, carrom, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, handball, kho kho, and football. Individuals with potential are well-nourished in the fields of karate and silambam.
The following are our students’ moments of triumph.: Ms. Lakshana Lia N R of class III brought international fame to our school by winning a gold medal for India in the 10th Shitoryu Karatedo International Championship 2023 held in Indonesia. The first international gold medal for school has given us immense happiness and pride. She was welcomed at the airport and the school grandly celebrated this victory. Additionally, Ms. Lakshna Lia received a notable scholarship for her upcoming studies.
Mstr. Joel.E won Third Position in International Chess Fide rating Competition
Swetha has won Second position in the International Chess Fide rating Competition
Holy Family Convent Matriculation Higher Secondary School won the “Overall Championship in Athletics at Zonal Level” this academic year with 247 points, taking our school to the first position.
Mstr. Syed Jameel won the District level and participated in the State-level boxing championship under 17 boys category.
Ms Lakshana Lia N R of Std III secured first place in the State level Karate Championship.
Mstr Tarakeswar, Ms Cheryl Lynn, Ms S Karthiga, and Ms Bharani Shree participated in the State Level Swimming Championship
Mstr Kaushik of Std 12 participated in the State Level Gymnastics Championship and has won II place.
Mstr Varunesh, Ms Prithika, Mstr Joel.E, and Ms Swetha won the District Level Chess Championship and are qualified for State level
Ms Jenifer Jeba Malar of Std XII in 100 and 200 meters, Ms Thenisha of Std IX in 600 meters, Ms Megha of Std VIII in 400 meters, Mstr Sam K of Std X in 400 meters, Ms Santa Jeanelle B of Std IX in High Jump, Mstr Vignesh V and Mstr Prabanjan L P of Std XII in PoleVault, Ms Annie Casandra of Std IX and Ms Bhavana Ramesh of Std XII in Shotput, Mstr Sai Eshwaran S N in Shotput and Discus Throw participated in State Level Athletic Competitions.
The above team also won the top three positions in various athletic events conducted by Revenue District Competitions and brought glory to our school.
